April ’05 Presidents Message
I have been requested to pen the first message from the President for the new year.
So what to talk about? New rides? None here what about you? Did you race this winter? Make those modifications that will put you over the top in your class? Did you do to much and have to move up a category? Write a short article and tell us about it. Peggy would be happy to help you perfect it.
I attended EESCC’s Icebreaker. What a job they did even with all of the first event gremlins. They had around 120 in the morning season and 95 in the afternoon season. The weather held out and everyone had a great time. I did not have my car as I was just there to watch and say hi to old friends and friends galore as I had four offers to drive someone’s car. I did not have to ask they looked me up. This is what I hear every event I have been at. Someone breaks a car, was not able to get it ready the night before, no problem someone is always there to offer you the use of their ride.
I hope to see you at our meetings or events and share the friendship that is gleamed from this sport we love.
