Perfect weather and fewer mosquitoes blessed Events 5 and 6 at the Hoodoo Ski Resort. Drivers were treated to 10 runs on Saturday and 8 runs on Sunday on two challenging courses. On Saturday, David Boyd and his Sunbeam Tiger blasted to top time of the day, with second fastest going to Marvin Wodtli, and third fastest to newcomer Kevin Neary in his beautiful 2006 Porsche Cayman S. Jeff Ellington took top PAX honors for the day with his 2002 Subaru WRX.

Sunday’s race was dominated by Nathan Korstad and his incredible 84 VW Rabbit , with second fastest time going to Bert Jacobson and his ground-pounding 83 Camaro. Bert’s performance was so strong, he achieved the quickest PAX time of the day!

Drivers Roy Hockatt and Greg Irvin put on quite a show Sunday by hustling their stock 91 Volvo 780 Sedan around the track as if it were a Hollywood stunt car. Leaning precariously from one side to the other with tires squealing all the way, cones were literally jumping out of the way as they trundled around the corners.

In the photo below, Starter Jeff Ellington prepares to start David Boyd's Sunbeam Tiger as Tim Hagnar takes his 1984 Porsche 911 across the finish line.

Thanks to all of the volunteers who helped set up and break down the events.  Also a big thanks to our season sponsors Hutch's Bicycles and
Rack-N-Roll Multi-Sport Automotive Rack Systems, and to the folks at Hoodoo for making their beautiful site available to us.
