"Ready, Set, GO!!!"
ACCO Opening weekend is here.
Saturday April 19th is a pratice event, a skid pad will be setup on Lot "D".
With a practice track on Lot "C".
For the season events,
All categories will run both morning and afternoon, you will get 3 run per session.
If you take your 3 runs in the morning group and you are satisfied with your time you can leave or stay and run 3 in the afternoon group for a total of 6 runs.
You can run in the afternoon group for 3 runs.
All runs will count toward points. Your best time of the day will be counted for points.
The groupings may be modified during the course of the year if the ACCO determines a change is
appropriate.

"Deschutes County Fair & Expo Center" has built a new RV section on the back side of the facility(South of Lot"A"),
they offer full hookup for $32.00 a night or Dry camp for $22.00 a night payable to the Expo Center.
has offered Specal pricing to ACCO members
July Event is held at Hoo Doo on Santiam Pass.
Volunteers are needed for the "2008" season.
One free fun run will be awarded to a person that takes on a setup Task.
A task will be assigned to a volunteer the month before the event.

Members, do you know someone intersted in Autocross?,
"Sponsor a Friend"
Bring your friend to registration and that person can purchace 2 fun runs for $5.00.
Fun runs are held after competition runs are finished.
Fun Run Fees:
Member that did not compete that day: $5.00 per run for first 5 runs, than $1.00 per run.
Non Member that did not compete that day: $5.00 per run for first 6 runs, than $1.00 per run.
Anyone that has competed on that day: $1.00 per run.
Fun runs are still a Run\ Work event, if you take a fun run be sure to work a safety station for someone else can run.

The Racers Theoretical Performance index by, Rick Ruth, has been published.
The index is derived from the study of results from over 200 nationwide autocross events. The index has been used for over 14 years and is constantly adjusted as cars and classes evolve.
